Hello & Welcome to Lonely Pines Farm!
We’re Laura & Jerry – living a blissful life out on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington.
But things haven’t always been this picturesque…
The idea of farming was born back in the suburbs of Shoreline, while renting a house with a teeny tiny yard.
We both wanted to spend more time together – enjoying life – and less time working for “the man.”
So we added garden beds & shoved plants into every corner of that property – all the while documenting our journey on social media.

And those beginnings will always be a part of us because the farm was named after those “Lonely Pines” that shadowed the backyard of our suburban home.
But as our love of farming grew & we ran out of space, the decision was made to upgrade. It was time to find a real farm property!
For our anniversary, we wanted to take a break from house-hunting and vacation somewhere we’d NEVER consider moving. We got an Air B&B on the outskirts of Sequim and fell in love with the area.

When this 2-acre home popped up right next to Crocker Lake, I knew it was something special.
Through a series of events that I can only call luck mixed with fate, we managed to get the property!

From day one, this place has felt like home. And for years now, we’ve been pouring our hearts & souls into improving the land.
Above all else, we prioritize using all-natural, sustainable practices to support local biodiversity.
Healthy soil, native plants, & thriving wildlife is where it’s at!
So, What Now??
This year, we’re getting focused & transitioning into selling physical products for the very first time.

Over the years, we’ve both developed a fondness for growing flowers & garlic. One fills the yard with incredible blooms & the other is a delicious pantry staple.
So that’s just what we’re gonna grow!
You’ll be able to find our fresh flowers & gourmet garlic at the Chimacum Farmers Market all summer long – starting June 5th. So please come down and say hello!

Once our garlic supply peaks, we’ll also launch our online farm store, with the goal of having some of the best garlic available on the Olympic Peninsula.
That’s the perfect opportunity to remind you to shop local whenever possible. There may be shortages & price hikes going on right now, but your local farmers are still out there busting their butts to grow you food. So please support your local farmers.
